In June 2022, the Environment and Tourism Support Initiative (EATS) conducted a climate change awareness session in Nukuchi community, located in Bwari Area Council, FCT.

The session focused on educating residents about the impact of climate change and the critical role of tree planting in mitigating its effects. Through practical demonstrations and community dialogue, the EATS team emphasized how reforestation and environmental stewardship contribute to long-term climate resilience and sustainable living in rural communities.
