In 2024, the Environment and Tourism Support Initiative (EATS) participated in the National Environmental Sanitation Day (NESD), held on June 28, as part of its role as a member of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Environmental Issues under the Federal Ministry of Environment.

Since its inception, NESD has been celebrated annually to raise awareness and mobilize action for improved environmental hygiene, waste management, and public health across Nigeria. EATS’s active involvement reflects its ongoing commitment to national policy engagement, grassroots environmental advocacy, and collaborative sanitation reform.
