In 2024, the Environment and Tourism Support Initiative (EATS) conducted a targeted community outreach program in the New Jerusalem community, located in Bwari Area Council, Abuja.

The program focused on raising awareness about public health, safe water and sanitation practices, and the impacts of climate change on rural communities. Through interactive sessions and local engagement, EATS empowered residents with knowledge and practical solutions to improve hygiene, prevent waterborne diseases, and understand the importance of environmental sustainability in the face of a changing climate.
