On November 19, 2024, the Environment and Tourism Support Initiative (EATS) participated in activities to commemorate World Toilet Day in Kano State, Nigeria.

The event focused on raising awareness about the importance of safely managed sanitation systems, ending open defecation, and promoting toilet access for all. Through community engagement, advocacy, and education, EATS joined local stakeholders in supporting efforts to improve sanitation infrastructure and ensure dignity and health for underserved populations.
